Offshore and Ocean towage activities Boluda Towage Europe’s AHT Bremen Fighter

In this news article you will find an impression of the recent Boluda Towage Europe’s offshore and ocean towage activities, performed by our 104 tonnes bollard pull AHT ‘Bremen Fighter’.

In August 2020, the Bremen Fighter towed the ‘Wagenborg barge 7’ loaded with the ‘Siemens Moray East Offshore Transformer Module’ from Antwerp to Invergordon. Siemens Energy is connecting three Offshore Transformer Modules® (OTM®), its range of AC offshore substation platforms, and will transmit the power generated from the 950MW Moray East Offshore Windfarm project, located 22km off the Aberdeenshire coast in Scotland.

In July 2020, AHT Bremen Fighter was contracted by Muller Dordrecht to assist the crane vessel “Gulliver” with offshore anchor handling, positioning and towing of topsides-modules on the North sea, near Yarmouth, North East England. The offshore towage job was safely performed together with the tug ‘En Avant 20’.

In May 2020, the ‘Bremen Fighter’ towed the jack-up ‘Seafox 4’ from IJmuiden to the Dutch CS block “K/08-FA-2 Platform” and provided anchor handling assistance during the rig move. Seafox 4 Tow master stated: “Excellent performance and cooperation with the captain and crew of the Bremen Fighter”.
