your job


  • Develop and implement the commercial plan for the area Germany
  • Maintain area and global relationships with customers and optimize customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate and close contracts for the assigned accounts/sales territory in accordance with global commercial account management structure and legal procedures and policies
  • Identify, analyze, develop and advise on new business opportunities in the designated area’s
  • Prepare and maintain sales budget and forecast for the area Germany
  • Timely identification of risks, deviations and opportunities to optimize financial performance
  • Ensure commercial data on inquiries, contracts, visit reports, competitive information and customer information is entered into the appropriate databases
  • Support the finance department in the collection of outstanding payments 
  • Planning and organization of customer events

What type of applicant are we looking for?


  • Successfully completed business degree
  • Relevant professional experience of at least 5 years, preferably in a maritime environment with a focus on sales
  • Fluent languages skills verbal and written in English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Navision desirable
  • Willing to travel
